REPUTDEATH - Slurking, Reeking, Leeching (Demo-Tape 2019)
This band from Sabah which is called themselves as Reputdeath is definitely one of the best ‘rotten’ Death Metal bands in Malaysia, even they’re my personal favourite since their beginning. “Slurking, Reeking, Leeching” was recorded on May-June 2019 at Route-33 Studio, released on limited run of cassette-tape by Chickenshit Records. As usual, Reputdeath is an absolute reminiscence of Swedish old-school Death Metal filthy-sound; Entombed, Dismember, Desultory, Grave, Carnage… just to name a few, also with huge influence of bands like Autopsy and Asphyx. Unlike most of their previous releases, this Demo-Tape 2019 offers top-notch sound production without leaving behind the essential elements; raw, dirty and ugly! 4 tracks here, over 10 minutes of HM-2 heavy aggressions!
