DUSK DESCENDANTS is a Malaysian Death/Dark/Doom horde which was born in November 2019. Based in Perak, the band is inspired by the older bands of the mid-80’s and early 90’s. The line-up are Shalmaneser Assy (guitars/vocals), Sujjaul Aqra (bass), Samaell (guitars), Chandra MCMLXXVII (vocals) and Muashir Iisbse (drums/vocals). They all played in several other bands before which gave them enough experience to compose songs and record in the studio. Hail! Please introduce us everything about Dusk Descendants?
Hail… for simple introduce, Dusk Descendants is a project band and now we are expecting more than that, hahaha, just kidding! We just follow the fate and follow the flow.
What is the perfect description for your music, sound and influences?
Perfect description? Errmmm… maybe for us, just make the scene to be more fun with 80s & 90s influences.
How did the idea for the “Ancient Incantations” split release come about as you were also planning for the EP “Spirit Of Nature”?
The ideas came from our best friend Karl from Astaka Arungan to introduce our small name one step forward to this scene. We are not putting high expectation on the Split but we are really appreciate and salute to Astaka Arungan for the effort.
What do you expect and hope for the split, and comment something about Eternal Bloodshed?
Getting more comments from that, we can find the strength and weakness of our planning… and Eternal Bloodsheed, two thumbs up for them… and with message ‘Komer memang sempoi’.
How confident are you in the efforts and cooperation from Astaka Arungan?
Not sure… InsyaaAllah, we hope the best from Astaka Arungan and they are truly honestly humble friends wanted to make this scene getting so much happier ever after.
